New Tank Monitor System, Gobius for Water and Fuel Tanks
At METS, FM Marin introduces CONTINUOUS measuring with Gobius for water and fuel tanks. This is a technological breakthrough which enables safe and precise measuring from the outside of metal and plastic tanks.
FM Marin now adds AI (Artificial Intelligence) to automatically calibrate and measure continuously for water and fuel tanks. The Gobius technology has been on the market for over two years and is now known as the top of the line product for waste holding tanks. Around the world there are close to 3000 Gobius systems installed.
– The challenge for us was to make a level indicator with some very strong features; easy and quick to install, retro-fit to old tanks, very easy to calibrate and with an accurate measuring technology, says Anders Meiton, inventor of the patented Gobius technology.
At the same time, FM Marin introduces an enhanced sensor technology. The new sensor is easier to attach, works with more tank materials, thicker walls and measures with higher accuracy. The sensors will also be available with different cable lengths and in two water resistant versions (IP 65 and 67).
- We have taken advantage of our experiences from demanding boat owners and are now putting our knowledge to use in a breakthrough product that will revolutionize the market, says marketing manager Torkel Bergström.
The new Gobius will be available in January 2010 for the leisure boat markets through distributors and dealers in most countrie in Europe, USA and Australia.
